Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1.1 Purpose

This policy defines the permitted and prohibited uses of Naranjatec’s infrastructure and services. Its purpose is to protect the integrity, availability and security of the network, servers and data of all customers.

These rules apply to all Customers, including natural persons. When the Customer is a natural person, Naranjatec will ensure that the service meets the protections required under Spanish consumer law while the Customer remains responsible for using the service in line with this AUP.

1.2 Prohibited Uses

The Customer may not use the services for:

  • Illegal or fraudulent activities or activities that violate the rights of third parties.
  • Disseminating or hosting content that is offensive, defamatory, obscene, violent or that promotes hatred or discrimination.
  • Sending spam, unsolicited bulk mail or commercial messages without consent.
  • Distributing malware, ransomware, Trojans or carrying out cyber attacks (DoS, DDoS, port scanning, intrusion, etc.).
  • Cryptocurrency mining or unauthorised intensive use of CPU/IO on shared services.
  • Storing or distributing material that infringes intellectual or industrial property rights.
  • Using the service for phishing, identity theft or electronic fraud.
1.3 Reasonable use of resources

Naranjatec applies fair use policies to ensure the stability of the platform. In the event of excessive or harmful use of CPU, RAM, IO or bandwidth, Naranjatec may apply (temporary) measures, including limitation, suspension or cancellation, with prior notice where feasible.

1.4 Compliance and measures

In the event of a breach of this policy, Naranjatec may:

  • Notify the Customer to correct the infringement.
  • Suspend or remove compromised services.
  • Block malicious traffic or access.
  • Report incidents to the competent authorities if there is a legal obligation to do so.
